Incorrect. Cats have 7 vertebrae, like nearly ALL mammals. I think Sloths were one of the few exeptions
That’s 7 CERVICAL vertebrae, with the exception of a few skinks which can have 6. Cats have 7 cervical, 13 thoracic, 7 lumbar, 3 sacral, and a variable number of coccygeal (tail) vertebrae.
So counting the tail, they have much MUCH more than 30 vertebrae. The statement is incorrect unless it restricts itself to non-coccygeal vertebrae.
